About – You can make it happen
Social engagement and interaction is vital for keeping our grey matter healthy not to mention simply getting together to enjoy conversation, new experiences, making acquaintances and having fun! Members can create a group solely for their close friends, or one anyone can join. It could be a special interest group, dance and music, gardening, or whatever takes your fancy, it’s up to you. It must though have a Boomers focus or be of interest to Boomers.
Boomers Club members will be able to join groups, create groups, and link them to events posted by the group or any event listed in the What’s On section of this site. Groups may be;
- Any Boomers member can join this group.
- This group will be listed in the groups directory and in search results.
- Group content and activity will be visible to any site member.
A private group
- Only users who request membership and are accepted can join the group.
- This group will be listed in the groups directory and in search results.
- Group content and activity will only be visible to members of the group.
A hidden group
- Only users who are invited can join the group.
- This group will not be listed in the groups directory or search results.
- Group content and activity will only be visible to members of the group.
